The Edmond North Lady Husky basketball team had to use a 4th quarter comeback to beat the Lady Jaguars at Westmoore last night. The win gave the Lady Huskies their 11th win on the year.
Westmoore outscored North 17-7 in the 3rd quarter and took a 36-32 lead going into the 4th. Toni Paparhonis scored 6 of her 10 points in the 4th quarter to help the Lady Huskies secure the 44-41 victory.
Amaia Maxwell led North with 12 points. Maxwell hit a trio of 3-pointers on the night. Graycen Holden joined T. Paparhonis and Maxwell in double figures with 11.
They will travel to Tulsa this weekend to compete in the Jenks/Union Invitational. Their first game will be Thursday night when they take on the Jenks Trojans at Jenks HS at 7:00 PM.
