Both 9th Grade Basketball teams picked up wins in their first round games of the Carl Albert Invitational on Thursday.


The 9th grade boys team held off a late rally by the PC North Panthers to pick up their first win of the year by a score of 45-42. Ethan Brady led the Huskies in scoring with 13 points. TJ Strong added 9 and Cody Dortch scored 8.

The 9th grade Lady Huskies picked also picked up their first win of the season with a 25-23 victory over PC North. Kenni Walker led the team in scoring with 15. Jordan Sanders had 10 to help lead North to the win.

Both teams will be in action again today against Del City.
